 Pencil inscriptions on tape of image package: "Very early heavy Scovill plate &amp; cut down on right side. 3 corners clipped &amp; sides are flat. 3 initials are written [in the] copper &amp; 'esq'; c. 1842. Retaped 9/8/96 by D.A.W. in Exeter, N. H."
