Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive., Lorenzo and Ruth Bennett Morgan were American medical missionaries in the Jiangsu and Anhui provinces of China, serving under the Presbyterian and Methodist mission boards from 1905 to 1946., and Some uniformed Chinese men are using tools near smoking wreckage. This is one of several photographs illustrating an incident in which a German plane landed near Haichow where the Morgans were living. The airplane was partially dissembled and parts given to the missionaries.
