Engraving has a small round hole at the bottom left corner outside of the framed image. and Extra plate (from another book?) inserted at end. The extra plate represents the float of the Confraternita del Santissimo Sacramento o di S. Stefano, and refers to "car. 68. no. 19". But no such confraternity is mentioned on p. 68, or in the index.

Which is 8000 ft. high, and Mary W. Caldwell was a missionary serving under the American Presbyterian Mission, South in Taichow, Jiangsu province, who took a trip through Gansu province in 1926.
