Brittle lower edges., and Binding: S. XVII (?) binding: brown blind-tooled leather over bevelled wooden boards. Both covers decorated with frames of fillets and rolls, the central panel with a strapwork pattern. Two clasps attached to the front board, with rectangular decorated brass catches on the rear board.
