Correspondence includes eleven autograph and typescript letters, signed, from Walsh to Daves, eight typescript carbon letters from Daves to Walsh, and several third party letters from editors and publishers regarding Walsh's work. Letters from Walsh discuss literary and personal matters, including her books, work in progress, including the novel The Ghost-walkers, teaching, life on reservations in the Dakotas, and the relationship between her literary output and the Sioux community.

- Group of letters, photographs, and clippings chiefly related to Read's poem "Sheridan's Ride," and its composition on the morning of James E. Murdoch's recitation at Pike's Opera House in Cincinnati, October 31, 1864. It includes four letters written by Read and one by E. D. Grafton; copies of accounts by Leon Vanloo and Davis L. James, describing how and where Read wrote the poem; a collage by Grafton showing Murdoch reciting the poem; photographs of Read and his wife Hattie by Grafton and others; and clippings regarding the placement of a plaque on the house in which the poem was written.

Materials include: annotated Pelican edition of The sonnets (New York: Penguin Books, 1985), from which Bervin's text is derived; an annotated and altered version of The dictionary of needlework (Exeter, England: Blaketon Hall Ltd, 1989), from which the cover design for the published version of Nets (Brooklyn, N.Y.: Ugly Duckling Presse, 2004) is derived; the manuscript version of Nets (circa 2001); a container of typing correction film, including two sheets of film of the type used by Bervin to white-out text in selected sonnets; a copy of the thesis submitted by Bervin in June 2001 to the University of Denver toward partial fullfillment of the MFA degree, bound with a March 2019 explanatory statement; and a broadside version of Sonnet 68 excerpted from Nets, designed and typset by Bervin and Anna Moschovakis in 2004, and printed by Margot Ecke in 2005.
