Abstract:
Photographs by Timothy O'Sullivan from the Geographical Surveys West of the 100th meridian, including views along the Colorado River, the Grand Canyon, Kanab Wash and Black Canyon, Camp Apache and Apache Lake in Arizona, Inscription Rock, Canyon de Chelle, Zuni pueblo in New Mexico, Bull Run Mining District in Nevada, Conejos Canyon and Conejos River in Colorado, and the Snake River in Idaho. Also includes images of Apache, Navajo, and Zuni Indians. Views 16-25 are from the 1874 expedition.

Consists of two reports addressed to the Commissioner of Indian Affairs by Supervisor Oscar H. Lipps, dated June 28, 1910 and June 27, 1910, concerning the Fort Lapwai School located at the Nez Perce Agency, where there was a high incidence of tuberculosis. The reports are headed: Department of the Interior, United States Indian Service, Office of Supervisor of Schools Five Civilized Tribes, Muskogee, Oklahoma.
