Description:
Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive., Peking University was called Yenching University after 1912 when the Chinese government university was named Peking University. It was later known as Yanjing da xue., and Tungcho Pagoda "Pagoda copied at new Peking University site" The pagoda stands amid scrub and low buildings.
Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive. and Unidentified Building A large building, possibly part of the Summer Palace. It has imperial style roofing and openings placed uniformly around it. Directly in front of it are smaller buildings. In the foreground is a person sitting on a bench.

A Unit in Feng Yu Hsiang's Base Hospital, cared for by alumnae of Women's Union Med. College. Exterior view of low brick building., Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive., and Feng Yu Hsiang held various military positions under the Ch'ing dynasty. He was called the "Christian General" following his conversion to Methodism in 1914 . From 1920 to 1926 he struggled with Wu P'ei-fu and Chang Tso-lin for the control of North China and Manchuria. He supported the Nationalists and became minister of war and vice chairman of the Executive Yuan at Nanjing in 1928. By 1930 he had broken with Chiang Kai-shek and had launched an unsuccessful military campaign against him.
