Oil painting presented to Yale in 1963 by a group of Dr. German's colleagues, friends, and residents. This painting hung in the neurosurgery laboratories corridor. In the 1980s the laboratories were vandalized and the painting was severely slashed and probably discarded. There is no known color image. The scan was created from a negative in the Historical Library. Dr. Roger's Tycos Sphygmomanometer in leather-covered case, with a cloth storage bag included. On the dial, beneath the name of the instrument, gives a manufacturing number of 87400, and a patent date (and pending) of December 21, 1915.
