"Grootmoeder Met De Pijp. Grand'mère Et La Pipe." An elderly grandmother smokes a large pipe while staring straight at the camera. The back asks, in German, for aid with missionary work.
"10. Catéchistes Missionnaires de Marie Immaculée - Kumbakonam - Hindoustan [Hindustan]. Grand mère et petite fille en visite." A grandmother and her granddaughter visit with a missionary who is holding a basket. They are in front of a bamboo fence.
“Ouraonne priant sur la tombe du Père Lievens à Héverlée.” A woman is shown kneeling in prayer at the grave of missionary Father Lieven. The caption and the following information are printed on the back of the postcard: "Le Denier du Prêtre Indien, 11 rue des Récollets, Louvain.” There is no handwriting on the back.
"Series V. - 1. The Great Cloister, Rameswaram." The interior of the Great Cloister reveals many ornate columns on either side of a long passageway. The ceiling is also decorated with special design. Additional information on the back notes that postcard profits benefit Industrial Schools in India.
