Copy of correspondence bewteen Simon de Herrera and Col. Manuel Antonio Cordero y Bustamente regarding a proposed military expedition from San Antonio de Bexar to New Mexico to be led by Francisco Amangual. All of the letters are countersigned by Félix María Calleja del Rey. The letters are accompanied by a folding table detailing the members of the expedition and types of ammunition.
