Cav., Aged 41, admitted to Harewood General Hospital, March 23rd, 1865, with accidental gunshot wound of the left hand. The use of the middle finger is much impaired, in consequence of the necessary removal of loose spicula of bone, and gangrenous sloughing of tendon of flexor muscle. The patient had erysipelas in the left arm a short time, but it yielded promptly to treatment. The wound has entirely healed., Joseph Briggs., R. B. BONTECOU,, and Surgeon U.S. Vols., In charge.
