Sawing wood up into boards to be used in flooring, windows, benches, etc. in the place we are going to fix up as a school and dispensary. The lumber is poor - said to have come from Korea some years ago. The men sitting down are sharpening a saw. The stones are the kind we will probably use in building our houses and hospital. The high house is where the Vinsons live upstairs. Downstairs is the kitchen, pantry and dining room for us all. We live in the house with the three windows high up - on each for study, sitting room, and bedroom. Windows on the East side are much larger. Otherr buildngs are the womens and mens chapels. Caption was written by Dr. Ruth Morgan., and Lorenzo and Ruth Bennett Morgan were American medical missionaries in the Jiangsu and Anhui provinces of China, serving under the Presbyterian and Methodist mission boards from 1905 to 1946.
