Collection of primarily 17th-century manuscripts, in multiple hands, of accounts and receipts for material goods used by employees of the Exchequer; the manuscripts primarily list quantities and prices of such items as paper, ink, leather, money bags, quills, and wax, and the name of the employee. Other accounts include a list of goods, and their prices, provided and delivered for the use of Charles Lord St. John and the rest of the farmers of the king's Customs; lists of the numbers of prayer forms for the monthly fast and for thanksgiving for the king's preservation that were delivered to the Archbishop of Canterbury and to the other bishops, followed by prices of forms in Welsh and the cost of stitching the prayer books; and an account of carpenters' work done in several offices at the Exchequer.
