Reorchestrated by Gustav Mahler (1860-1911), in blue and regular pencil and red ink. Most of his rescoring consists of lightening the texture, eliminating or changing some of the instrumental doubling, sharpening the dynamics, clarifying the phrasing, and changing instrumental registers.
