Companies represented in the scrapbook include American-Hawaiian Steamship Company; Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway Company; Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad Company; F A O Schwarz; Great Northern Railway Company (related to the See America First campaign for Glacier National Park); Volland Poster Stamp Co.; and W.P. Fuller & Co. There are also stamps and decals for expositions including the Lewis and Clark Centennial Exposition in Portland, Oregon, 1905; the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco, California, 1915; and the Panama-California Exposition (later known as the Panama-California International Exposition) in San Diego, California, 1915-1917.

Alfred Edward Heller (born 1929) is a collector, investor, and author. He wrote World's Fairs and the End of Progress (1999) and was the publisher and editor of the quarterly magazine World's Fair from 1981 to 1995., Purchased from the William Reese Co. on the Frederick W. and Carrie S. Beinecke Fund for Western Americana, 2005., and Title devised by cataloger.
