Also includes a long series of wholly practical procedures and recipes

- In French and Latin., Script: Written by one scribe in a remarkably small and neat cursive gothic hand., No headlines, no color, no decoration, spaces left for some capitals with guide letters, a few drawings in the text or in margins., and Binding: Nineteenth century. Marbled paper boards with diced calf back, the backstrip in compartments with horizontal gilt fillets, lines of gilt small tools bordering the false bands, title label in the second compartment from the top gilt-lettered "REGNAULT". Early, probably original green edges. Hinges of the binding repaired.

- Also contained are the Latin and French poems "Explicit iste liber," "Epistola super huius," "Quam cinxere," "Traitie," "Carmen de variis in amore passionibus," and "Carmen super multiplici viciorum pestilencia.", Manuscript on parchment in Anglicana (Scribes 1 and 2) and Secretary script (Scribe 3). The text is the third recension of the Confessio Amantis, written in 1392-1393.The manuscript was produced around 1400 or the beginning of the fifteenth century in the same manner as the other surviving manuscripts from this time, presumably under the author's supervision., and The text of the manuscript is the third recension of the Confessio Amantis, written in 1392-93. Osborn, 1961., First and third quires wanting., Imperfect: stained by mildew throughout; rubbing; multiple repairs with some loss of text., Rubrications at running titles, initials, Latin commentary., Sir George Meyrick, Bart., who sold the manuscript after his father's death in 1960, said that the manuscript had been in his family's possession for over 100 years and that in 1775 the house was almost destroyed by fire. Many family papers were lost and perhaps it was then that the manuscript became damp and mildewed., and There are red and blue 1-3 line initials at small and large paragraph breaks. Books II (f. 13r), V (76r), VI (125r), VII (140r), and VIII (175v) contain initials with full page demi-vignette borders in gold, red, blue, green, orange, and brown.

- Manuscript on paper of Frère Laurent, Somme le Roi (The Book of Vices and Virtues). Written presumably for Agnes of Burgundy, Duchess of Bourbon, who died at Moulins-sur-Allier in 1476.

- At the beginning of each book there are spaces (9 to 13 lines) left blank for miniatures. 4- to 2-line initials for each book and for a few chapters, gold against blue and red grounds with silver or white filigree, with coarse gold ivy and black hair-spray. 2-line initials in blue or red for chapters; 1-line initials, blue or red, in table of contents. All initials with guide-letters. Chapter numbers and paragraph marks in red. Rubrics throughout., Binding: Eighteenth century. Edges red. Brown calf, spine gold-tooled, with a red label: "Miroir du Monde M. S. S. Antiq.", Script: Written by two scribes in batarde script.
