- Manuscript on paper, in a single hand, of a collection of 226 primarily secular verses and songs. Entries include William Strode’s Uppon An Infant Unborne Whose mother Dyed in Travell; Walton Poole’s On A Gentlewoman with Black Eyes; and An Epitaph Uppon One, Drowned in the Snowe. The volume also contains satirical epigrams such as On A Creditor; An Epitaph on a Lascivious Woman; and An Epitaph on a Bastard; a series of prologues and epilogues taken from plays by William Cartwright; and several political entries, including A Declaration of the Commons Howse of Parliament in Ireland, 1640; The Copy of A Lettre Sent From the Rebells in Scotland to the King of France, Desiring his Protection; and A Dialogue Betweene Two Zelotts Concerning the New Oath. and P.
