Art. 2 was added by two scribes writing Humanistica Cursiva Libraria., The tables and diagrams are traced in brown or red ink. Except in the tables there is no ruling for the text. The text is written in brown and red ink., and The parchment is stained and worn due to folding and manipulation.

In Spanish., Script: Written by a single scribe in a highly abbreviated Spanish Gothic cursive script with many later notes and additions., and Decoration: A miniature on f. 2r depicts the hospital, its patron Saint Lorena, and a blind man, with the legend "hospital de los ciegos". Illuminated initials with marginal extensions ff. 2v and 7v. Illuminated arms on f. 8r within roundel with the letters "c b".

Autograph manuscript, signed, of a highly decorated and illustrated genealogy of the rulers of England from Egbert of Wessex to Queen Elizabeth I. The genealogical trees are illustrated with coats of arms, in full color, as well as marriage symbols and other decorations. Pages 13-14 and 33-34 are parchment rather than paper and contain an abbreviated and stylized family tree for Elizabeth I; color illustrations of an angelic figure with a trumpet and an armored knight; and a full-color chart with the white and red roses of York and Lancaster as the central roundel containing the name of Elizabeth I. The charts are followed by "Briefe observations of the disposition, of everie severall kynge of England from William the Conqueror untill this present 1592." The text concludes with Colman's monogram in red ink. The volume concludes with a full-color illustration of the coat of arms of Sir Francis Bacon

In Greek., Script: Written in a neat Greek minuscule by Camillus Venetus., Book and chapter headings and 3-line initials in red. Many delicately drawn diagrams illustrating the text: tones, harmonics, scales, modes, the zodiac., and Binding: Sixteenth century. Original sewing with two strands of thread on five single supports adhered to the inside of the boards. Plain wound endbands are sewn on vegetable fiber cores which are laced into pasteboards. The square spine is lined all along with vellum. The edges are lavender. Covered in black goatskin, blind-tooled with a large diamond in concentric borders made up of flowers, foliage and heads in medallions. Two ribbon fastenings now wanting, as is some spine lining and leather.

Small initials, 3- to 1-line, some with floral motifs. Simple headpieces in black and red at beginning of each section., and Binding: Sixteenth century. Lavender edges. Tan leather, flesh side out, over wooden boards with a blind-tooled X and a single line border on each. Probably by the same binder who bound MS 301; almost certainly done in the same bindery.
