Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive., Ernest Forster, the photographer, was an American Episcopal missionary who stayed in Nanjing during the period of the Japanese occupation, 1937-1938., and Nativity pageant, St. Paul's Church, Nanking, Christmas, 1938. Children are dressed as shepherds, wise men, and in costume of various occupations.
Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive., From the collection of the Hartwell family, two generations of American Baptist missionaries serving in China between 1858 and the 1940s., and Junior Choir, children from the Relief Center. A group of more than twenty children dressed in white robes is posed for the camera.

Propagation de la Foi.” Children of varying ages are shown outdoors seated at wooden tables with benches at mealtime. Missionary sisters and father along with adult workers attend the children. The following information is printed on the back of the postcard: “L’Œuvre de la Propagation de la Foi soutient les Missions Catholiques du monde entire. Envoyez votre offrande par Chèques Postaux: Paris, 618-25; Lyon, 72 71.” Propagation de la Foi: Lyon – 12, rue Sala; Paris – 20, rue Cassette (VIe).” There is no handwriting on the back.
