Sir Watkin Williams-Wynn (1749-1789), politician and patron of the arts, held summer performances at his estate at Wynnstay, in North Wales. Bunbury incorporates into the design of this admission ticket the titles for the 1785 season: The Confederacy, As You Like It, The Agreeable Surprise, Venice Preserved, and Harlequin's Invasion. The titles are shown on banners held by the figures of Tragedy, Comedy, Pantomime, and Farce or draped over the branches of the tree. Bunbury uses Farce dressed as a harlequin holding a club labelled "invasion" to form a rebus of Garrick's play. In the background, the four figures are identified on the sails of a windmill. In the banner at the top of the oval is the name of the theatre and the year "1785"; at the top and bottom of the oval are the masks of comedy and tragedy

Punch (left) points to a large butt or tun inscribed 'WYNNSTAY', from the top of which hang comic masks which encircle its upper circumference; in his right hand is a stick with an ass's head. On the right side of the butt are three figures: Mother Shipton, humpbacked with a profile like Punch's; a demon or satyr, who looks from behind the cask; and a small man or boy, perhaps Tom Thumb. Abstract:
"A strip design of a sequence of eighteen figures, all men. Their gestures and expressions denote pleasure, surprise, or horror (real or affected). Over the head of each person the words he speaks are engraved. The first (left) runs forward in profile to the right, 'chapeau bras', both arms extended, exclaiming "Tis true". The next, looking away gloomily, says, "Tis Pity". A man, with a pleased smile, says "As tender as possible". His neighbour says "Dont mention it", to a man who says "Poo, Poo". The next, clenching his fist, says angrily, "God Zounds hold - your Tongue", addressing a foppish man who capers delightedly, saying "Ha Ha". The next, with a shocked (but pleased) expression says "O La !" to a man who answers, "Dear me you dont say so?" A stout man yawns "Heigh ho". A lean one says "O Fye". The next couple, addressing each other, say "Indeed!" and "There now". The next, highly pleased, says "I thought so" to an angry man who exclaims "The Devil!" A lean austere man, raising a hand, says "No sure". A foppish man, 'chapeau bras', bowing with his hand on his heart, says, "Depend upon it". The last, horrified, exclaims "O Lord! "The roofed gateway of a great man's house. In front of an archway (left) through which appears a staircase, an obese porter stands in profile to the right, lifting up both hands to show the impossibility of access to his master. He is addressing a would-be visitor, middle-aged and stout, who faces him with an insinuating smile, hat in hat, pointing with his right hand towards his companion, a slim young man (right), who stands full-face, his right hand in his breeches pocket. The young man is dressed like, and resembles, the 'Modern Fine Gentleman' in British Museum Satires No. 6342, a companion print.
