Description:
Hsen-Hsu Hu (1894-1968) was the Professor and Director of Botany at the Fan Memorial Institute of Biology in Peiping and famous as the founder of modern plant taxonomy in China. He received his doctorate from Harvard in 1925 while working at the Arnold Arboretum.
