- Brazer Wilsey, Serg't, Co. D, 4th N.Y. Vols., aged 30, was admitted to Harewood U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital, April 12th, 1865, suffering from gun shot wound of left shoulder, the ball fracturing the head of humerus. Wounded, April 2nd, 1865, at the battle of Petersburgh, Va. Resection of head of humerus, by a straight incision through the long diameter of the deltoid muscle and about four inches of shaft removed. Operation performed on the field, April 2nd, 1865. On admission, the condition of injured parts and constitutional state of patient were tolerably good. Progressed favorably, but, no osseous formation had taken place up to date, July 11th, 1865., Brazer Wilsey., Harewood U.S.A. General Hospital,, Hospital Number 20,915., R. B.
