“Les Missionnaires Prémontrés de France. Église de Vatomandry.“ The altar and devotional areas and several rows of pews are shown inside a Catholic church in Vatomandry. The name of the publisher “Aulard et Cie, 6 rue de Vieux-Colombier, Paris.” is printed on the back of the postcard. There is no handwriting on the back.
The sanctuary of a Christian church is depicted looking toward the altar. Pews are seen along the side isles but there is no seating in the central area of the nave. There is no handwriting on the back of the postcard.
Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive., Cameroun - Eglise de Douala ("Church of Douala"). Large church with bell tower among trees and dirt road. Postage stamps on top right of image., and The back of the postcard contains a handwritten message in French, with a printed address for the publisher: "Edit. des Missions Evangeliques, 102, b. Arago, Paris." The Société des Missions Evangéliques was a Protestant organization known in English as the Paris Evangelical Missionary Society.

The photograph shows a large stone church building with stained glass windows and a bell tower. Various trees and plants surround the church. Postcard issued by "Missions Africaines.", and The back of the postcard is blank and contains printed information about the publisher: "Procure des Missions Africaines - 11, rue Crillon - PARIS (IVe) - Cheques Postaux: 1816-60." The back also contains information about the printer: "Helio Lorraine - Nancy."
