Contains the Anglo Saxon Genesis, Exodus, and Daniel formerly ascribed to Cædmon, "Christ and Satan" or "Harrowing of Hell.", Interleaved with ms. notes by Jan Van Fliet. Autograph and ms. note on t.p. of William Griffith explaining that he had acquired this book in Breda in August 1667 from the library of the late Jan Van Fliet, who had written the annotations. The book had belonged to Isaac Vossius and had been given by Vossius's great nephew to Jan van Vliet (cf. ms. note on p. 1). Blind stamp and bookplate of the 6th Earl of Macclesfield ("North Library ...1860" surmounted by crest of the Earl of Macclesfield with motto "sapere aude")., and Signatures: [triangle of dots with parentheses]² A-O⁴.
