A collection of prints and drawings probably assembled in the late 1830s or early 1840s, although the drawings may have been executed earlier. The wash drawings by Agnes Berry are of mostly Italian sites in Genoa, Florence, Naples, Rome, and Nice with one drawing of Mont Cenis in France. The lithographs are more varied in theme and include: two engravings after paintings by Raphael, possibly removed from an illustrated book; etchings and lithographs of carriages and coaches; lithographs of buildings; a group of four etchings by Henry Monnier and two lithographs by Delpach; and nine etchings and engravings of contemporary actors and actresses in theatrical costumes. Three pairs of feminine legs and one pair in trousers emerge from the pond, where their owners have fallen head first; two chamber-pots inconspicuously floating among the legs show by a coarse pun that these belong to FitzClarences, the Duke's children by Mrs. Jordan, cf. No. 7908, &c. The Duke who flourishes a cat-o'-nine-tails, exclaims "Curse him he has kick'd me off, take [sic] we shall be in the slough by G-". In the near pannier on John's left stands the Duke of Kent, one arm round his betrothed, the other flourishing a long whip, with his right leg raised and resting on John's shoulder, which his spur gashes. Abstract:
An album containing drawings of castles, ruins, abbeys, landscapes, roads, and bridges drawn by the artist while on tour in northern Wales in August and September 1790, the year before her marriage. Most of the drawings are titled with names of places visited and are listed on the front flyleaf. On the verso of the fifth drawing, sometime after 1826, the artist has written a short piece entitled "Recollections" in which she compares travelling in Wales in 1790 to the last trip she took in 1826

Elizabeth Susanna Davenport (1764-1844) was a writer known for her books written for children. An album of sketches largely comprised of images drawn by a traveller in central and southern France in the late 1820s and early 1830s. The images, executed in a variety of media and styles, are mostly skillfully drawn landscapes, elevations of buildings, and people in local costume, with captions in French (with some English), many of which show scenes in the Bagnères-de-Bigorre (September-October 1828) in southwestern France as well as scenes in Pau (1827), Saint-Étienne (1828), Peyrehorade (1828), Nimes (1828), Bayonne (June 1828), Toulouse (May 1829), Montpellier (June 1829), Bordeaux (August 1830), and Royan (1831). The picturesque views include: a shepherd on stilts ('berger des Landes'); a couple on a cacolet at Bayonne; a rear view of a farmer sitting on a wall; a view of a chateau near Toulouse silhouetted against the red night sky, and another of the Tour des Pins at Montpellier glowing in the dark. Several drawings demonstrate an interest in architecture and antiquities: there are detailed, very skilled architectural drawings of the Thermes de Marie Thérèse at Bagnères-de-Bigorre, and Latin inscriptions copied from Roman monuments. Landscape drawings include a tall chestnut tree at the convent of Notre-Dame de Médoux and Narcissa's tomb at Montpellier (with a quote from Young's Night Thoughts). The album also includes five British scenes by another artist: the Tower of Refuge, Isle of Man; Netley Castle in Hampshire England; Carisbrooke Castle, Isle of Wight; the ancient well at Wavertree and Prince Rupert's headquarters, Everton, both near Liverpool (these last two signed 'Alex Aikin').
