"2. Les Mehara - Selles au pommeau touareg à la croix appelées R'Halâas." A man sits on the ground next to another man who is holding the ropes attached to two camels. The man with the ropes is playing a wind instrument. The camels have large saddles on them. The men and camels are in the middle of the desert.
"13. Ghardaïa. Vue générale prise du Barrage de Mélika." A man and a boy sit on rocks on a mountain, overlooking the desert, a garden, and a city below. The man wears a hat. The tower of the mosque in the town is in clear view.

Additional information indicates that this postcard was produced by the Missions of the White Fathers in Bonnelles, France.
"Mission Des Pères Blancs. - Ouargla [Wargla]. - La ville nouvelle et ses jardins." This aerial view shows a town and its gardens. The gardens are central, and town buildings stand on either side of them. There is a truck on the lefthand side and some people walking in the gardens. There is a handwritten note on the back of this postcard.
