Cav., Aged 41, admitted to Harewood General Hospital, March 23rd, 1865, with accidental gunshot wound of the left hand. The ball entered about the middle of the palmar surface, and emerged at the dorsal, fracturing the third metacarpal bone. The wound was received near Petersburg, Va., March 15th 1865, and was caused by the conoidal ball. The patient had erysipelas in the left arm a short time, but it yielded promptly to treatment. The wound has entirely healed., Joseph Briggs., R. B. BONTECOU,, and Surgeon U.S. Vols., In charge.
