Charles Last, bugler, 25th Ill., aged 35, admitted to Harewood U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital, from Hampton Hospital, Sept. 13, 1865, convalescent from gunshot fracture of right thigh, upper third, ball entering from outerside. Wounded by guard at Washington, D.C.—conical ball—at short range June 7, 1865. On admission to this hospital, the fractured part was united and patient able to be about on crutches. Constitutional state of patient, at time of injury, good; treatment, splint and counter extension; result, favorably. The patient is doing very well, and in a fair way of having a good limb., CHARLES LAST., and Gunshot fracture of thigh.

Harewood U.S.A. General Hospital,, R. B. BONTECOU,, Robert A. Butcher, Private, Co. H, 82nd Pa. Vols, was admitted to Harewood U.S. Gen'l Hospital, April 16th, 1865, having two sabre cuts across the top of the head, received near South-side Railroad, Va., April 10th, 1865. The anterior wound was near, and in line with the coronal suture. The posterior one, about one inch and a half from the first and parallel with it. The bone was not denuded. The wounds healed rapidly. May 29th, the patient, for the first time complained of severe headache, and intolerance of light, and the anterior wound soon after re-opened discharging unhealthy pus. The head-ache gradually subsided, the wound again healed, and he was discharged nearly well, June 9th, 1865., Robert A. Butcher., and Surgeon U.S. Vols., In Charge.

Timothy F. Pridgen, sergeant, Co. K, 18th N.C. Vols., aged 22, admitted to Harewood U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital, September 13th 1865, suffering from gunshot fracture of upper third of left femur. Wounded at the battle of Deep Bottom, Va., July 28, 1864. On admission to this Hospital, the patient had so far recovered as to be able to sit up and move about—the bone having united firmly; wound still open and discharging in consequence of necrosed bone; his prospects for a useful limb are good. and TIMOTHY F. George Rouse, private, Co. G, 7th N.Y. Vols., aged 27, admitted to Harewood U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital, September 12, 1865, suffering from great deformity of right limb the result of gunshot wound, right thigh, upper third, through trochanter major, severely fracturing femur. Wounded at the battle of Southside Railroad, Va., April 1, 1865. On admission to this Hospital, the patient had so far recovered as to be able to sit up, and constitutional state was tolerably good. The fractured parts had firmly united, but with great deformity; wound of entrance also healed; but there are still some discharges from sinures in thigh, and small fragments of necrosed bones are daily removed. Prospects as to usefulness of limb unfavorable; patient otherwise doing tolerably well., GEORGE ROUSE., and Gunshot fracture of thigh at the trochanter.

Thomas Smith, 1st sergt., Co. K, 1st Mich. S.S., admitted to Harewood U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital, August 15, 1865, suffering from a severe and destructive inflammation, with loss of vision of both eyes, contracted on field; cause unknown. Constitutional state of patient otherwise good. This soldier has a congenital deformity of right forearm, and in this condition served faithfully for four years in the ranks, carrying his musket, and regularly performing his duties. Transferred. and THOMAS SMITH.

Alfred B. Lane, Private, Co. F., 39th N.Y. Vols., aged 49, was admitted to Harewood U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital, April 5th, 1865, suffering from gun shot wound of right hip over gluteus maximus muscle, the ball injuring soft parts. Wounded, April 1, 1865, at the battle of Hatcher's Run, Va. On admission the condition of injured parts and constitutional state of patient were good. Patient did tolerably well up to April 20th, 1865, when parts became gangrenous. May 1st, wound clean but occasional slight hemorrhage and profuse suppuration. Patient gradually sank, and died May 18th, 1865, from exhaustion., Alfred B. Lane., Harewood U.S.A. Harewood U.S.A. General Hospital,, Hospital Number, 20,893., R. B. BONTECOU,, Samuel C. Pew, Corp. Co. F. 57th, Pa. Cav., age 29, was admitted to Harewood U.S.A. General Hospital, April 19th, 1865, with gunshot wound of the abdomen. The ball entered over the left hypochondriac region, passed transversely toward the spine, and emerged about 6 inches from point of entrance. There have been no symptoms indicating injury of internal organs. The ball was of the conoidal variety. The wound was received at Sailor's Creek, Va., April 6th 1865. The patient did well and was transferred to Philadelphia, Pa., May 18th, 1865., Samuel C. Pew., and Surgeon U.S. Vols., In Charge.

Christain Wagner., Christain Wagner. Corpl. Co., G. 9th N.Y. Cav. age 20 was admitted to Harewood U.S.A. Gen'l. Hospital, April, 5th, 1865, with an amputation of the thigh performed in consequence of gun shot wound received at Petersburg, Va, March 31st. When admitted the patient was doing well and continued to do well until the night of April, 14th when symptoms indicating the approach of tetanus made their appearance these symptoms disappeared under the application of sulphte of morph to the wound and its administration by the mouth.
