Otto Becker in 1896 and later made into lithographic prints as an advertising promotion for Anheuser Busch Brewing Association. Print shows Custer, standing, saber raised overhead in his right hand and a pistol held by its barrel in his left, in the battle of the Little Bighorn in 1876. In addition to Custer, the painting portrays his brother Thomas Ward Custer, Rain In The Face, William W. Cooke, George W. Yates, Henry Armstrong Reed, William Van W. Reily, and Algernon E. Smith. - A letter dated Oct. 1, 1866 from Custer in Monroe, Michigan to C. F. Hatch, Superintendant of the S.M. & N.C.R.R. concerns arrangements for Custer's horses on the train he is taking to Kansas. and Collection contains a map, 3 ALS, and an army document signed by Frederick W. Benteen. The map, entitled Military Map of Nebraska and Dakota by Lieut. G. K. Warren, Topl. Engrs. From the Explorations made by him in 1855-6 while attached to the staff of Brev. Brig. Gen. W. S. Harney, commg. Sioux Expdn., was Custer's and includes manuscript additions in his hand. These include his camping places during the Black Hills expedition of 1874, the place names assigned by him that summer, and the routes (marked in blue and red) of two expeditions in 1875.

- George A. Custer, commander of the 7th Cavalry in the Battle of Little Big Horn. Frederick W. Benteen was senior captain of the 7th Cavalry, who commanded three companies at the Battle of Little Big Horn. Elizabeth Bacon Custer was General Custer's wife. and Purchased from Zeitlin & Ver Brugge on the Walter McClintock Memorial Fund, 1970.
