She wears a straw bonnet and is blown by the wind, her dress defining her figure, her hands in a large muff. Two men (right) walking hurriedly to the left are much caricatured; one rejects the outstretched hat of a ragged female crossing-sweeper. On the extreme right an ugly military officer puts his arm round a handsome courtesan. The windows of a corner-shop form a background: 'Chevalier Stinkpot Perfumer in General to the Court of St James's'.
