- Date of publication suggested by cataloger., Verse - "As our King lay musing on his bed,"., In three columns with the title and woodcut above the first two; the columns are separated by columns of type ornaments., In this edition part of the title reads "(instead of the tribute due)". In another edition with the same imprint (ESTC T206330), it reads "(instead of the tribute due)"., The "st" ligature found at end of imprint is some form of code found in many broadsides with this imprint; its significance has not been determined (possibly a form of press figure?)., Mounted on leaf 66. Copy trimmed., and Bound in three-quarters red morocco leather with marbled boards, with spine title stamped in gold: Old English ballads, woodcuts, vol. 1.
