Brazer Wilsey, Serg't, Co. D, 4th N.Y. Vols., aged 30, was admitted to Harewood U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital, April 12th, 1865, suffering from gun shot wound of left shoulder, the ball fracturing the head of humerus. Wounded, April 2nd, 1865, at the battle of Petersburgh, Va. Resection of head of humerus, by a straight incision through the long diameter of the deltoid muscle and about four inches of shaft removed. Operation performed on the field, April 2nd, 1865. On admission, the condition of injured parts and constitutional state of patient were tolerably good. Alfred B. Lane, Private, Co. F., 39th N.Y. Vols., aged 49, was admitted to Harewood U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital, April 5th, 1865, suffering from gun shot wound of right hip over gluteus maximus muscle, the ball injuring soft parts. Wounded, April 1, 1865, at the battle of Hatcher's Run, Va. On admission the condition of injured parts and constitutional state of patient were good. Patient did tolerably well up to April 20th, 1865, when parts became gangrenous. May 1st, wound clean but occasional slight hemorrhage and profuse suppuration. Patient gradually sank, and died May 18th, 1865, from exhaustion., Alfred B. Lane., Harewood U.S.A. Aaron Detweiler, Corp'l, Co. G, 198th Pa., Vols., aged 18, was admitted to Harewood U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital, April 2nd, 1865, suffering from gun shot wound of right arm, upper third, the ball injuring soft parts. Wounded, March 29th, 1865, at the battle of Hatcher's Run, Va.
