This panorama view shows the buildings mentioned in the caption as well as a body of water behind them. It appears to be a bay and there are ships in the harbor.
"A monastery near Hopo, China. Picture taken by Mr. Adams." The monastery building has decorated roofs and sits on the side of a mountain, surrounded by trees.
"Swatow [Shantou] Acad. Dormitory: Built of granite and reinforced concrete, proof against typhoons, earthquakes, and white ants. Begun Spring 1918, + finished in the Summer 1919. It is so high we could not get a view from the level without cutting off part of the building. Grounds still to be laid out." The dormitory is situated on a cliff, and the view of it is at an upward angle. Mountains rise behind the building.
"March 1921. View of our house from [Bahers]. White part at corner is guest room bathroom. On right is guestroom. On left is big living room. Little black squares at top of big pillars are iron plates to hold the big irons that hold the house together since the earthquake. Verandah 19 feet wide." This Missionary home appears to be set apart from any other buildings. There is a concrete wall in front of the house and a few trees around it.
"Our house at Thaiyong. 1922. Our end does not show very much." This missionary house is one story tall with a very large foundation to protect from floods.
"Forge. (Accra)." A building with an upper porch is shown near several other small buildings. A flag is shown flying near a larger building in the distance.
"Central Avenue of Examination Halls in Chentu [Chengdu], showing entrances to cells at side." A government building for holding imperial examinations is shown from the main entrance. Individual examination cells can be seen in rows on both sides of the walkway leading up to the building.
"Old Observatory, Peking [Beijing]." Metal astronomical instruments are seen on top of the large stone structure. Three tall poles, possibly lightning rods, are positioned at the roof's corners. A road passes under the building through an arch.

“Moanda en omstreken. Moanda et ses environs. De vuurtoren. Le Phare.” A three-story brick lighthouse is shown in a seaside field. Three men stand at the bottom to provide scale. The name of the publisher, “Eigendom van Scheut. Kongo. Propriété de Schuet.” is printed on the back of the postcard. There is no handwriting on the back.
“Nova Goa – India Portuguesa. Paço Patriarcal. Patriarch’s Palace.” A statue holding a cross is shown in front of the large residence at Panaji. The name of the publisher “Ediçäo de Christovam Fernandes, Nova Goa.” There is no handwriting on the back.
"Young Women's Christian Association, Bombay [Mumbai]." This view features two sides of the building, a man walking on the sidewalk, and a car parked in front of the building. There is a handwritten note and address on the back of the postcard.
"India (Serie I - N. 1) - Il promontorio di Tanjong a Singapore." The promontory of Tanjong in Singapore is pictured here. It is a cabin with a thatched roof cover both it and a porch. The entire structure is on stilts in the water. This postcard was published by "Il Pontificio Istituto delle Missioni Estere" in Milan, Italy.
"Kanunnikessen - Missiezusters van den H. Augustinus." A building built on stilts in the water has a thatched roof and a front porch. This postcard was published in Brussels.
