A shield at center, upon a flat, wide monument. Against an argent field stands a tall, leafy tree with a smaller shield at its center. This shield, against an azure field, presents a rampant lion with three stars surrounding him; two above, one below. At the helm of the larger shield is a knight's helmet, backed by long and wavy leafing. At the crest, atop a torse, is an armored right-handed arm grasping a laurel wreath. Between the shield and the monument is a drapery with an or field, and a small caduceus within a triangle. A motto in the border of the drapery reads ΑΝΕΧΟΥ ΚΑΙ ΑΠΕΧΟΥ. The center design is flanked by two men—the one on the left dressed in long flowing robes; the one on the right also in robes, with a long fur-trimmed mantling and a chapeau on his head. Beneath the entire image is a larger, wider banner with the title text upon it.
