In Latin., Script: Written in liturgical gothic script of two sizes, by one person. Prayer on f. 87v is added in a very similar script, but by a less firm hand., A pencilled note on f. 55r refers to a miniature cut out between ff. 54 and 55. 2-line initials in blue, with red penwork often extending along left border. 1-line initials in blue or red. Rubrication to mark headings within sections in crimson or orange ink., and Binding: Eighteenth century. Brown calf, blind-tooled. Rebacked; back cover detached.
In French., Script: Written in gothic bastarda script., and Initials in red, blue, and gold. Illuminated marginal miniatures, one with a man threshing wheat in a town and the other with a mythological goat/serpent hybrid. Text in red, brown, and blue inks.

In Latin., Script: Written by several scribes in liturgical gothic bookhand or square and disjointed humanistic script, both of which have been influenced by printing., Decorated with initials and partial borders cut from earlier manuscripts, none of high quality; penwork decoration added to portions pasted in. Twenty engravings, woodcuts and drawings, colored by hand, also pasted in and surrounded by simple borders in red ink. Crude 1-line initials in red and faded purple. Square notes on 4-line red staves. Rubrics throughout., Many leaves repaired or trimmed. Some leaves or portions of leaves used to complete sections were inserted sideways or pasted over another part of the manuscript., and Binding: Eighteenth century.
