Description from similar print in Lewis Walpole Library: A sleeping clergyman sits in an armchair, oblivious to a maid tickling his nose with the tail of a sucking pig, just delivered by a man standing in the open doorway. On a table is an inkstand and quill, a wine bottle, glass and candle with a book entitled "Tythe laws fully consider'd". At cat pulls from the table a paper labelled "Bans of marriage", while on the floor near a small dog a large book lies open to "Poem on good living". The clergyman's portrait and that of a woman hang on the wall behind him beside a map entitled "A Plan of the doctor's parish."

His left arm hangs by his side, in his left hand are the staff and cap of 'Liberty'. The right half of his dress is whole, the coat gold-laced, the pockets brimming over with coins. The left half is ragged, his empty pocket hangs inside out. The head of the King, in profile to the right, wears an arrogant frown. "Satire on George II's reluctance to accept an inter-party ("Broad-Bottom") government which included Tories suspected of Jacobite sympathies. The king, in the centre. leans across a table crying out, "Hounsfoot me no Stomach him!" as Thomas Pelham, Duke of Newcastle, and his brother Henry prepare to cram the Tory John Hinde Cotton into his mouth; Newcastle remarks, "His Bottom's dam'd Broad". Six other former opposition members hoping for office, including Lords Cobham (saying "I'll Protest no more") and Lyttelton ("You are right Cuz"),and William Pitt ("We drive a fine Trade"), lie on a shelf ready to be treated in the same way as Cotton, one of them saying, "Burn the Yellow List." The kings breeches are lowered and he is evacuating Lord Hobart. Others who have presumably emerged in the same manner leave the scene to left complaining that they have been turned out of office. They include Sir John Rushout saying, "Rusht-out with a Fizzle", and, kneeling in the foreground, Lord Winchelsea who has dropped his spectacles, complaining, "Bes[hi]t without a Job". In the foreground to right, stand two other gentlemen address the oppositiion members, one saying "Consider Your Oaths", and the other, holding a large key, "Remember The Healths"."--British Museum online catalogue

A third cupid ties the girdle as the arrows fall from the quiver on his back. Behind him, the altar of Venus has tipped over, the fire still burning.
