Description:
Abundant decoration consisting of line-fillers in gold and paint containing animal and hybrid bodies and ending in human or animal heads; 1- and 2-line initials, the latter ending on f. 1r in borders consisting of a horizontal bar in the upper and lower margin on which grotesques are painted: in the upper margin an animal (its head partly cropped) shooting a bird and in the lower margin a monkey looking at a hybrid., f. 1r-v //Nam et testimonia tua meditacio mea est ... Et ne auferas de ore meo verbum veritatis usque//[quaque].
Ps. 118 :24-43, On parchment., Ruled with lead for one column of 19 lines below top line (type 31, 170 x 105 mm). The horizontal ruling is double, lines being traced for the headlines as well as for the baselines., and Written in a narrow Northern Gothica Textualis Formata (Textus Rotundus).

Manuscript on parchment (single leaf) of 1) Last article of an unrecorded Capitulary, probably from the beginning of the reign of emperor Louis the Pious (814-840). 2) Capitula adhuc conferenda, i.e. Memorandum for a Capitulary, ca. 819 (?). This is a list of 18 questions to be discussed in view of a planned new Capitulary.
Description:
“Cap. XV” in art. 1 is written in Uncialis in red ink, and the opening letter V, in the same colour, is a 2-line initial. In art. 2 all the opening capitals (D, Q, S or U) are said to be likewise red, but their colour is hardly distinguishable from the colour of the text., Script: Copied by one hand writing Carolingian script., and The fragment was perhaps the final leaf of a codex, which would explain the smudges and offsets visible on the verso.

Binding: Unbound., Many leaves are badly soiled., Red underlining of biblical passages. 2-line flourished initials with extensions in the margin or in the intercolumnar space; they are in red and blue on ff. in quire I, in red only in quires II-III (two flourished initials on f. 1v are also executed only in red); two initials of that type are missing, ff. 11r and 16r. Larger initials at the beginning of the commentary of new Bible books: 4-line littera duplex "B(eatus)" on f. 4r, Prologue to Ecclesiastes; 3-line "Q(uecumque)" on f. 8v, Prologue to Wisdom; 11-line "S(ummi)" and 6-line "O(mnis)", both red on beige background, on f. 15r, Prologue and text of Ecclesiasticus., and Script: Copied by one hand in early Gothica Textualis. Running headlines in flourished majuscules alternately red and blue; they stop after f. 6.
