Two prints depicting the visit of Biddle and his two ships to Japan. The print of the Columbus and Vincennes in Japan depicts the two American ships surrounded by small Japanese boats, with Japanese crewmen from two boats boarding the American ships. The second print, the Departure, depicts the American ships being towed out to sea by the Japanese boats.
