Drawing of a urn-shaped bronze vase that was kept by Horace Walpole in the Tribune at Strawberry Hill. On the side of the vase is a scene in bas-relief, taken from an antique by Fiammingo, of five naked boys surrounding a long-haired calf(?). The vase was formerly part of the Harleian collection

Harding from local catalog card., Date based on death date of Thomas Kirgate, who likely assembled the extra-illustrated volume in which this drawing is found., Possibly a preparatory sketch for a finished piece. Marginal notes in pencil indicate that there should be "4 ring[s]" in the coiled handles and that the right side of the drawing should be the "shade side"; a note within the vase's shadow indicates "shade"., and Mounted on page 68c in Thomas Kirgate's extra-illustrated copy of: Walpole, H. Drawing of the inside of the Tribune at Strawberry Hill. Small paintings hang on the walls; figurines, small statues, and urns fill the niches in the walls. The rosewood cabinet, in which Horace Walpole kept enamels and miniatures, is mounted on the wall near the center of the image. Two stools with red cloth occupy the corners. A domed ceiling with a yellow star at its center is seen above; the carpet below mirrors the ceiling in having a large yellow star among its ornamentation

Depiction of several items from Horace Walpole's collection that were sold at the Strawberry Hill Sale of 1842. Sitting on a table draped in a red tablecloth, surrounded by other items, is the silver bell that was once attributed to Benvenuto Cellini. Shields, urns, a book, a decorated hunting horn, and an ornate dagger occupy the floor in front of the table. To the right are several pieces of armor, on the floor beneath a stained glass window; wooden cases in the Gothic style are seen in the background

Drawing of the monument to the memory of Kitty Clive that was erected by Horace Walpole at Little Strawberry Hill. The monument consists of an urn sitting upon a pedestal that bears the inscription: Ye smiles and jests still hover round; this is mirths consecrated ground; here lived the laughter loving dame, a matchless actress, Clive her name; the Comic Muse with her retired, and shed a tear when she expired.
