Bundles of papers protrude from his pocket. He wears a wide-brimmed hat. The centre figure is full-face; his hat is in his hand. A paper, "Annuities 20 pr cent", hangs from his pocket. The third figure is in profile to the left. He smiles and holds the arm of the centre figure; in his left hand is a cane.
