Title devised by curator., Artist's name and date written in ink below image., This drawing was sent to Horace Walpole by John Fenn in 1774, with Walpole speculating on the identity of the sitter in his response. "Satire on Cambridge academics: scene at a pottery market where a fat don trips over two fighting dogs and grabs the collar of a thin gentleman as he falls towards a table laden with pots for sale; the stall-holder rushes from the left to save him from damaging her stock and two of the don's colleagues stand behind the table laughing. "The Prince of Orange in old-fashioned uniform, heavily gold-laced, stands in profile to the left, looking up, both hands resting on a tall cane. He wears a cocked hat, long pigtail, aiguillettes, a star, a long sword, and clumsy jack-boots. He has not the heavy somnolent appearance of Gillray's portraits, cf. Set of 290 black-and-white prints of Rockwell Kent's illustrations and decorations for the 1930 Lakeside edition of Moby Dick. The prints are housed in 148 mats, with each mat holding one to four prints, and divided into three volumes that correspond to the published Lakeside edition. The mats for each volume are housed in a custom case with paper spine and cover labels featuring Kent's illustrations. Volume 1 contains mats 1-49 (95 prints) and the inventory of illustrations; volume 2 contains mats 50-94 (89 prints); and volume 3 contains mats 95-148 (106 prints).

Satirical print showing Napoleon after the battle of Maloyaroslavets (24 October 1812) during his Russian campaign (‘The Patriotic War’ in Russian parlance). He is vomiting fragments of plans and charts as well as a shattered anchor. In his hand he holds a large medicine bottle of emetic labelled in Russian: ‘Emetic. Pour Mr Napoleon. Heartfelt thank you, if only to take it more often. By order of the Russian army, from the pharmacy near Maly Yaroslavets’.
