Fairly modern (18th century?) nastaʻlīq, in red and black., ʻUnwān in gold and colors on leaf 1 verso; copious illustrations in colors., On fly-leaf: "D.D. Cunnighame.", and Islamic binding, covered with needlework, mostly eaten away.
Copied about A.H. 1150 (A.D. 1737)., On the importance of the proper understanding of the principles of faith., and The work ends on leaf 46, and is followed by miscellaneous extracts (from the Tafsīr al-Fātiḥah of Ṣadr al-Dīn al-Qūnawī, etc.).

Coarse naskhī, in red and black., Islamic binding, in brown., No. 2 of 15 titles bound together., Purchased from Captain Tekeş, Istanbul in February 1965 on the Beinecke fund., and Title on leaf 29 recto: Muqaddimat [al-tawḥīd]; the title ʻAqīdat al-tawḥīd is found in the explicit, where "ʻAqīdat" appears to be a correction, presumably from the original "Muqaddimat".
