Thurlow and Mansfield on right pull on ropes to keep the statue in place, while Fox (depicted as a fox), Wilkes, Dunning, Richmond, Burke and Keppel attack it. Britain's foreign enemies, America (shownas an Indian), France, Spain and Holland run away with the spoils

To the left the members of the new ministry (Thurlow, Conway, Camden, Barré, Burke, the Duke of Richmond, Rockingham, and Fox) look on, as does Britannia seated in the lower left corner
