Watercolor drawing of one of four panels, formerly the doors to a shrine in the abbey of St. Edmundsbury, that were kept by Horace Walpole in the Chapel at Strawberry Hill. This panel shows an unidentified older man, whole-length directed to the left, bald, wearing a red robe, leaning on the cane in his right hand and holding a hat in his left hand. A stable housing a cow and a horse(?) is directly behind him; a heraldic shield hands from the roof of the stable.
