Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive., Emily S. Hartwell stands in the back of this group photograph of a Chinese kindergarten class. The class is a part of the Christian Herald Fukien [Fujian] Industrial Homes in Foochow [Fuzhou]. The gathering was a part of a welcoming ceremony for the founder of the kindergarten class, Mrs. Liu. There is Chinese text on the top of this photograph. A school band is also present.
