- Title devised by curator., Unsigned; questionable attribution to John Chute from local card catalog record., Date based on death date of Horace Walpole, who assembled the extra-illustrated volume in which this drawing is mounted., Two drawings on separate sheets, mounted together one above the other., Annotations accompany the vignettes in the drawings, with "circular room 12 feet high" written in pencil across top of uppermost drawing. Also in the upper drawing, "eight stools" is written in ink next to a circular design, and the notes "fret work inside of roof" and "low head boards pierced ..." are written next to two small depictions of a chimneypiece. In the lower drawing, the notes "flat & square" and "balustrade 2 f. 1/2 high" are written next to a patterned design., Several additional sketches of architectural details, in pen and ink and pencil, are present on the verso of the sheet mounted at top., and Mounted on page 121.8 in Horace Walpole's extra-illustrated copy of: Walpole, H.
