- Abstract:
- Pair of wash drawings, one above the other, showing overall and detail views of the bronze hand kept by Horace Walpole in the Tribune at Strawberry Hill. Described by Walpole as "an Egyptian hieroglyphic hand," this sculpture is shown in the top drawing to stand upright with the wrist as its base. The thumb, index finger, and middle finger point upwards with items balancing upon their tips; the last two fingers are curled inward towards the palm. The bottom drawing shows in detail the pictures and symbols that decorate the palm and back side of the hand; these include a snake that wraps around the entirety of the hand

- Drawing of three objects kept by Horace Walpole in the Tribune at Strawberry Hill. In the upper left is a depiction of Henry VIII's dagger, a Turkish work having a case and handle of chalcedonyx set with diamonds and rubies; the blade of steel damasked with gold is hidden here by the case. In the upper right is a depiction of a silver Turkish ornament, long and narrow with ornamentation in gold and blue on both ends. At the bottom is a depiction of the ornate prayer book supposedly made for Claude, Queen of France, wife of Francis I; visible is the spine of gold enamelled and adorned with rubies and turquoises, as well as the cover of cornelian that was engraved with religious subjects

- Watercolor drawing of one of four panels, formerly the doors to a shrine in the abbey of St. Edmundsbury, that were kept by Horace Walpole in the Chapel at Strawberry Hill. This panel shows an unidentified older man, whole-length directed to the left, bald, wearing a red robe, leaning on the cane in his right hand and holding a hat in his left hand. A stable housing a cow and a horse(?) is directly behind him; a heraldic shield hands from the roof of the stable. Walpole described this scene as "a person in the act of adoration in a stable" in his Description of Strawberry Hill

Shelves with Gothic arches line three walls and are filled with books; on the back wall is a large arched window and two small rose windows filled with painted glass. On the far left is the chimney-piece imitated from the tomb of John of Eltham, Earl of Cornwall in Westminster Abbey, over which the painting of The Marriage of Henry VI hangs. In front of the fireplace is a desk on which Mrs. Damer's terra-cotta eagle sits in its glass case. Half of the ceiling painted by Clermont from Walpole's designs is visible at top; oval and rectangular paintings line the walls above the bookshelves

The ornate railing of the staircase, each post of which is topped with a single antelope supporting a shield, is prominent in the foreground; its winding path up to the landing containing the Armory and further up to the next floor can be traced. On display on the back wall of the Armory is a cluster of weapons and armor, visible between two columns supporting decorative arches on the ceiling.
