Drawing showing the interior of the Great North Bedchamber at Strawberry Hill. A canopy bed is centered against the back wall, flanked on either side by two chairs and two hanging paintings. At right is the chimney-piece of Portland stone and gilt designed by Horace Walpole from the tomb of W. Dudley, Bishop of Durham, in Westminster Abbey; a firescreen and two red china bottles are seen sitting in front of the fireplace, while the large picture of Henry 8th and his children is seen hanging above. On the wall at left are two bow windows, the arched tops of which are painted with coats of arms. Between the windows hangs a large mirror, above which hangs a painting and below which sits a table with three vases on it. A clock hangs above another chair on the extreme right. The walls are covered in crimson Norwich damask; two crimson rugs cover the floor, one beneath the bed and the other in the center of the room. The celing is decorated with a geometric pattern in gold

Drawing showing the interior of the Great Parlour or Refectory at Strawberry Hill. The chimney-piece is visible at left, above which hang the portraits of Sir Horace and Galfridus Mann flanking a painting by Reynolds. On the right, the large painting of the Ladies Waldegrave hangs above a bureau on which a clock with a bronze figure of a reading woman sits. On the far wall is a window with some painted glass at top, on either side of which hangs a pier glass. Against the left wall are two sofas upholstered in red and white; black chairs of Gothic design are against the opposite wall on the right. Two other chairs, small tables, vases, and additional paintings complete the visible furnishings of the room. An ornate border lines the tops of the walls

Abstract:
Depiction of several items from Horace Walpole's collection that were sold at the Strawberry Hill Sale of 1842. Sitting on a table draped in a red tablecloth, surrounded by other items, is the silver bell that was once attributed to Benvenuto Cellini. Shields, urns, a book, a decorated hunting horn, and an ornate dagger occupy the floor in front of the table. To the right are several pieces of armor, on the floor beneath a stained glass window; wooden cases in the Gothic style are seen in the background
