BM Satires No. 12247) and with the crown half-extinguishing her little head. He wears uniform, sits on a lower seat, but with his right foot on a footstool. He holds out twin cherries to the child, saying, 'Now we'll play at Bob Cherry--open your mouth'. On a table (left) are Sweet Meats and Sugar Candy, on the floor a (mature) doll. On the right, framed by pillars, is the Council Chamber. Wellington presides, in the royal chair, turning arrogantly to say: 'As president of the Council--who shall gainsay me--' [Bathurst was Lord President of the Council]. Behind him Grenadier Guards with fixed bayonets stand at attention. Inconspicuously at his right hand, and below the dais, sits William IV. He vigorously rides an anchor, despite a wooden leg. He has a pugnacious expression, and a long pigtail. [3] 'The Jews Hobby'. He has a beard and rides a bag of 'Old Clothes'. [4] 'The Doctors Hobby'. A very thin apothecary, a medicine-bottle in his pocket, rides a 'Mortar', using the pestle as a steering-rod. [5] 'The Ireishmans Hobby'. Viewed from the back. Lady Conyngham, immensely fat, and her size increased by inflated sleeves and skirt. The King advances from the right and takes her right hand. The back of her head is covered by a large '5s.' piece, showing the reverse or "tail", with St. George and the 'Honi Soit' ... inscription. The King's face is covered with a sovereign, showing the obverse, with his own head, the profile towards the lady, and 'Georgius IV'... inscription. She wears an enormous high-crowned hat trimmed with loops of ribbon, the brim extending beyond her vast shoulders. He wears a top-hat and braided coat with fur collar, the ribbon of the Garter, and the Golden Fleece, with knee-breeches. Above the design: 'If thou be a King, where is thy Crown! John, an elderly cit, still paunchy, but with clothes hanging in wrinkles, turning his head in profile to the left, contemptuously smokes a short pipe, the smoke inscribed 'Puff'. His right hand rests on a cudgel inscribed 'Wellington Oake'. "George IV, as Falstaff, sits in a high-backed chair with a grotesquely fat Doll Tearsheet (Lady Conyngham) on his knee. He holds a large glass of wine and looks at her with appraising melancholy. A thin cat with the head of Charles Grey walks on top of a wall. In his mourn is a fish labeled "First Lord of the Treasury 6000". His long tail, curving around the design and ending at the bottom right, is covered in white patches that are labeled with the names of his relations, their positions, and the amount of their pay. A stick figure of Wellington, with sword raised, appears in the right corner above the end of the tail. Posted on the wall are two signs: "Commit no nuisance" and "Reform in Parliament meeting will be [illegible scrawl]."
