A coat of arms, divided into quarters. The upper left-hand square contains a chevron and three dragon heads. Beside it, to the right, a wide band with three scallop shells divide this square. The two lower squares are identical versions, reversed in order. At the helm, on the left, is a bird atop a fish. To the right is an armored forearm grasping a lance. Surrounding the coat is a belt, upon which is the motto Temperato Splendeat Usu. Beneath the image, and written in ink under the plate owner's name is "Honorable East India Company's Benal Army".
